Custom Cabinetry / Built-Ins
Cabinetry built into the room itself, sized to the exact wall it sits on — not a furniture piece pushed against it.

Designed Around You
A built-in has to do more than hold things — it has to look like it was always part of the room. Before we design anything, we look at how the room is actually used: is it a media wall for regular family movie nights, a reading nook, or storage and display for an entryway.
That use, combined with the room's existing trim and architecture, is what shapes the balance of open shelving, closed storage, and any work surface built into the piece.
Before the Layout Locks In
A few decisions are much easier to make before a built-in goes into the wall than to change after.

Function First
The built-ins that hold up over time balance what's on display with what's hidden away — adjustable shelving that can change as your collection does, closed cabinets for anything you don't want visible day to day, and cable management planned in from the start instead of patched in later.

Materials
Since a built-in usually sits alongside existing trim, wood species and finish are often chosen to match what's already in the room rather than starting from a blank slate. See species and finish options on Design & Selections.
Common Questions
Yes — we measure your equipment and plan cable paths and ventilation into the cabinetry during design, rather than fitting it in after the fact.
In most cases, yes. We look at your existing millwork profile and finish and match it as closely as the material allows, so the built-in reads as part of the room rather than an addition.
It depends on the goal. A built-in uses the space more efficiently and reads as part of the architecture, while freestanding furniture is easier to move later. We'll talk through which fits your situation.
Yes, with the right material and clearance for heat. We account for that during design so the finished piece is both safe and durable.
